If you are looking for a quick and healthy meal for your family, look no more! This dish is PERFECT for those days when you just don't have the time (or energy) to put into a delicious and nutritious meal.
We try to eat fish once a week, and since tilapia is one of the tastiest and most sustainable fish out there, it's a win win for us! Tilapia is packed with vitamins and minerals like Vitamin B12, vitamin D, and is a great source for omega 3 fatty acids and protein!
Ingredients
- tilapia fillets
- organic butter
- olive oil
- garlic
- capers
- lemon
- hand full fresh italian parsley
- pinch sea salt
our twist
We topped this white fish with a lemony middle eastern warm spice called sumac
TIPS
We usually buy our fish from Costco in the fresh fish section, and the fish is in bulk! You can cook this fish frozen too (just make sure you add an additional 5 mins to cook time).
SUBSTITUTIONS
If you run out of capers, or don't prefer them, you can substitute this ingredient with green olives! And instead of parsley you can replace with cilantro and it will taste just as delicious!
