A drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper bring this salad and its simple flavors together. You can also add a dash of sumac spice for a touch of lemony flavor!

Ingredients
- 6-7 ripe home grown garden or roma tomatoes
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 sprinkle kosher salt
- 1 sprinkle black pepper
- 1 sprig fresh mint

- 1 dash sumac
Instructions
HOW TO MAKE TOMATO MINT SALAD
- Start with 6-7 ripe home grown garden or Roma tomatoes.
- Cut tomatoes in small triangles, and place on a flat plate or small bowl. Roll sprig of fresh mint chop and top on tomatoes. Drizzle olive oil and add salt and pepper. Add a twist by sprinkling a dash of sumac!
- Allow the simple flavors to absorb in the salad for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

This is a perfect Summertime dish to make with fresh tomatoes from the garden. Mint grows almost wild here,
so that's always on hand.
It works with cherry tomatoes too, just cut them in half. Remember: don't refrigerate tomatoes, they have so much better flavor and texture at room temp
