What is Za’atar? This spice is known for its many health benefits, and considered to be the superfood spice of the Middle East. This special green spice is generally a combination of thyme, oregano, toasted sesame seeds and salt… and my very own special blend of adding a twist of sumac measured to perfection!
What is Sumac? A middle eastern spice made from dried and ground berries of the wild sumac flower. It is tangy in taste with an acidic flavor reminiscent of lemon juice!
What is Aleppo Pepper? A Syrian spice made from the Halaby pepper that is moderately spicy, tangy with a fruity aroma.
